उत्तर प्रदेश लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा सम्मिलित जूनियर इंजीनियर (सिविल) परीक्षा के माध्यम से सिंचाई एवं जल संसाधन विभाग हेतु चयनित 1438 अभ्यर्थियों को मनचाहे जनपद में तैनाती मिली है। विभाग ने सफल अभ्यर्थियों को
लखनऊ में आमंत्रित कर रिक्त पदों के पूरे विवरण से अवगत कराया गया और मेरिट के क्रम में उनकी पसंद के आधार पर तैनाती दी गई।

नियुक्ति पत्र वितरण कार्यक्रम से वर्चुअली जुड़े सफल अभ्यर्थियों से मुख्यमंत्री ने संवाद भी किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने बारी-बारी से 10 अवर अभियंताओं से नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया के बारे में पूछा। टॉपर सीतापुर के आशुतोष सिंह से मुख्यमंत्री ने पूछा कि पूरी नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया में उन्होंने किसी तरह की सिफारिश या अन्य कोई जुगाड़ तो नहीं लगाया, इस पर आशुतोष ने ‘जुगाड़’ से इंकार किया और बताया कि पूरी चयन प्रक्रिया निष्पक्ष ढंग से हुई। वहीं महिला वर्ग में टॉपर गोरखपुर की संध्या कन्नौजिया ने मुख्यमंत्री को भरोसा दिलाया कि जिस तरह ईमानदारी और शुचिता के साथ उन्होंने नौकरी पाई है, पूरे सेवाकाल में वह स्वयं के कार्यव्यवहार में यही ईमानदारी बनाए रखेंगी। वाराणसी निवासी राजेश कुमार पटेल, जिन्हें मनचाहे जनपद सोनभद्र में तैनाती मिली है, ने पारदर्शी ढंग से नियुक्ति पाने पर मुख्यमंत्री के प्रति धन्यवाद दिया, तो, ललितपुर में तैनाती पाने वाले झाँसी निवासी राजेश उपाध्याय से मुख्यमंत्री ने मनचाही नौकरी मनपसंद जिले में पाने पर बधाई दी।
मेरठ निवासी राशिद अली ने मुख्यमंत्री को बताया कि शुचिता के साथ चयन और पदस्थापना में हमारी पसंद जानना अद्भुत है।कानपुर की कुसुम दुबे ने मुख्यमंत्री को बताया कि उन्हें मनपसंद जिला प्रयागराज में तैनाती मिली है। सिफारिश के बारे में पूछे जाने पर कुसुम ने कहा कहीं किसी से किसी भी तरह से जुगाड़ या सिफारिश की जरूरत नहीं पड़ी। सब कुछ पारदर्शी ढंग से हुआ है। प्रयागराज से राकेश कुमार सरोज को मुख्यमंत्री ने दीपपर्व की बधाई दी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि शारीरिक रूप से दिव्यांग राकेश की सफ़लता लाखों युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणा बनेगी। राकेश ने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के नेतृत्व ने पारदर्शी चयन प्रक्रिया के लिए आभार ज्ञापित किया।
बरेली निवासी उमेश और रामपुर के रहने वाले अजय कुमार ने अपने परिवार की ओर से मुख्यमंत्री के प्रति आभार जताया। सहारनपुर निवासी राधे श्याम सैनी ने मुख्यमंत्री से बताया कि उनकी पहली नियुक्ति हरिद्वार में हुई है, यह उनके लिए अपार खुशी का अवसर है।
